I'll be speaking about Azure Application Insights at DevSum 15 in Stockholm
I’ve been using Application Insights in Azure quite extensively for the last year. It’s truly a great product for getting insights into your applications. I’m glad to have the opportunity to share my experience of do’s and don'ts at the Swedish .NET developer conference DevSum! I’ll give a brief introduction to the service as a whole, but will focus on the web parts, especially the front end stuff.
Application Insights beyond console.log()
More and more of the logic of a web application is moved to the client, and so also persistent exception logging, right? It’s probably so that things that occur on the client side never reach beyond console.log(). It’s here that Application Insight comes to our rescue. Application Insight in Microsoft Azure allows you to monitor and gather data about what is happening in your application. With this powerful tool it’s easy to find errors and correlate errors from both the server and the client.
